He will also show additional sequences from his collection.
In the afternoon, there will be a showing of a selection of the international audio visuals entered in the showdown competition. This will include sequences from Melbourne, South Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Staffordshire , Holland, Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. This is a great opportunity to hear from an international audio visual creator and to see how sequences are created in different parts of the world.

Read MoreLast night, April 10th, we came to the final night of the 2016 – 2017 weekly Photo league and thanks to Maria O’Brien we had, for the first time, a beautiful trophy to present to the winner.
The whole club membership is most grateful to Maria for her great generosity in donating this Perpetual trophy, which will be competed for long into the future.
The winner on this occasion was Noel Ryan, a very consistent entrant throughout the year followed closely by Helen McQuillan in second place and Edwin Bailey in third.
Heartiest congratulations to Noel and thanks to all the other members who participated in the league.

Once again we had a very fine entry for the annual Spring Trail event around the St Patrick’s day festivities. The trail was set this year by Helen McQuillan and Maria O’Brien and they set it in the Vandeleur Gardens, Kilrush and around the town of Kilrush.
Unfortunately, the weather was most unkind over the three days but eighteen brave souls braved the elements and produced fine sets of images.
The competition was won by Dave Halliday, with Christy Griffin in second place followed by Harry Pierce in third. Patricia Egan took the best First Time entrant.
The judge on the night was Adrian Kelly, Limerick Camera Club.
