Read MoreHello again!
Many thanks to you and your members for taking part in our calendar competition last year. It’s that time of the year again and we want you to send us some of your favourite photographs so we can feature them in the Bord na Móna 2018 Calendar.
The title of this year’s Bord na Móna Photography competition is “Our Living Land”.
The theme is wide open to your personal interpretation but we’re looking for beautiful photographs of the bogs, ecology, communities and landscapes that make up the Irish countryside. These pictures can be anything from close ups to wide landscapes, woodlands or riverbanks, farmhouses or barnyards, animals or people, birds or bogcotton. It is entirely up to you, as long as the photos demonstrate some association with the living land.
The twelve photos selected by our panel of judges will appear in the Bord na Móna 2018 Calendar. An overall winner will also be chosen. The overall winner will receive a prize worth €250 and their winning photo will appear on the calendar cover. The competition is open to employees and members of the public.
The closing date for entries is Friday 20th October, 2017 but if you have a suitable photo please send it now to calendar@bnm.ie
Thanks again,
Pat
