Congratulations Yvonne Acheson  placed 3rd in the All Ireland Audio Visual competition at the NIPA AV Festival at Ballyearl Arts & Leisure Centre, Newtownabbey last weekend with her iconic sequence “Inter Woven”.

Well done too to Maria O’Brien and Edwin Bailey who represented Shannon Camera Club at the event,

Invitations to Limerick Camera Club

Des Crowley Chairperson of Limerick has extended an invitation to two events at Limerick Club.

(1) On November 14th they will be holding a bring and buy sale of photographic equipment, books and anything to do with photography. Bring anything you want to sell and who knows you might buy a bargain.

(2) On November 21st John Hooton will be giving a presentation of his work and his latest book at the Club and Des says all are welcome on the night. This is a great opportunity for us to see John’s latest work, locally. The fee on the night will be just €4.00

Limerick Camera Club meets in Mary Immaculate College, South Circular Road entrance.

Congratulations Maria O’Brien, winner of the Intermediate Section at the  National Audio Visual Championships last Sunday, with  her sequence “Reflections”  and to Edwin Bailey who came second in  the Advanced section  and also getting an Honourable Mention in the same section with his sequences “Breath of Spring” and “Just Because”.  Edwin also shred the Audience vote.
